You can take them to a jeweler and they can clean them for almost nothing or they have special jewelry cleaner that you can clean them with, it’s what I use to clean my pearl bracelet with.

a soft toothbrush and a mild toothpaste . if their very dirty use ultrabright .i know ’cause i gave my mother a beautiful string of pearls years ago and that’s how she cleaned them.

You didn’t say if these are ‘cultured pearls’ or ‘genuine pearls’. (either one are expensive); cultured have been GROWN in ‘farms’ usually in the orient & genuine are picked from the deep waters by divers; & you didn’t say if they’re fake but nice, or fake & cheap. I would think if you wear them every day, they must be a good set.

I’d take them to a jeweler to have them tell you what kind they are, what the ’string’ is made of, have them clean them; they usually don’t charge for this—hoping it will gain them a future customer.

Put them in vinegar for about 10 minutes,and then run tap water on them.You may check them then.If still dirty soak them longer.
